Course Outline
This course is designed to cover the neutron/radiation transport theory and its computation. It includes computational methods and numerical algorithms for continuous, one-group, multigroup neutron and radiation transport computational formulations, that can be applied to the design of various nuclear reactors, radiation shielding facilities, analysis of radiation distribution in systems such as nuclear fusion reactor, accelerator, nuclear bio-medical equipment, and nuclear imaging problems in nuclear prospecting, nuclear assay, and computed tomography.
